Kristin gets her first up close Nor'easter experience
A Nor'easter blew in last night and dumped about 15" of the fluffy stuff. Actually it continued all through the morning and into the afternoon. We decided to take a family outting just up the road and do some sledding. We piled in to the family truckster (always a pleasant experience on a cold day which requires several layers of clothing) and disembarked. Bumblebee Hill is the name of the park, but when it's covered in over a foot of snow, you're cloths bulge such that you look like the Michelin tire man and you are under four feet tall, this little hill feels like a mountain.
This always results in me making four trips up and down the hill for each round trip that one of my children makes.
Kristin didn't particularly enjoy the brisk wind in her face backed by the little needles of snow, but Emily, Aaron and me toughed it out. Another family came along and we all had a good time sledding together. Aaron enjoyed sledding with Elliot who was about a half year older than him. In a picture below you can see Emily and Elliot struggling to pull Aaron up the hill on Elliot's sled. It was a good day.
